Code of Conduct & Department Rules
To preserve academic focus, patient safety, and institutional decorum, all students enrolled at Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) Layyah must strictly adhere to the following disciplinary standards:
1. Mobile Phones Prohibited
Mobile phones are NOT allowed during college hours. Use of mobile phones in lecture rooms, laboratories, and corridors will lead to immediate confiscation and disciplinary fine.
2. Gate Pass & Permission
Students are not allowed to leave the department without permission & gate pass. In case of any genuine emergency, the concerned department coordinator will verify and approve the application.
3. Library & Common Room
During class time no one is allowed to sit in Library & Common room. Students must be present in their designated lecture rooms or clinical wards as per the official timetable.
4. Property Damage & Fines
Any harm to department property is NOT acceptable. Students found damaging lab apparatus, furniture, or library books will be charged the full replacement cost plus disciplinary fines.
5. Visitors Policy
Visitors are not allowed during class time. In case of an emergency, visitors must report to the reception and obtain prior written permission from the administration.
6. Maintain Discipline
Maintain the discipline of department at all times. Professional etiquette, respectful conduct toward faculty, staff, and fellow students, and punctual attendance are compulsory.
